I did this last year and I thought I should share it with my fellow shop owners!
Free Shipping Day is where tons of online merchants offer free shipping to either the US or Canada. It is free for merchants to register, they will add your shop to the big list, and you can specify how people can get free shipping EXAMPLE: Purchases over $5 get free shipping.
I had a stipulation last year and I found it wasn't very sucessful-so this year I'll be doing straight free shipping and see how it works.
In saying that I did have over 100 per day leading up to the event as well as another 300-700 views on the day of the free shipping. So you do get lots of traffic.
The other thing is that you must have Free shipping and delivery before Christmas Eve. So check it out!!
