Has anyone noticed the prices of table runners? I just finished looking at the prices and cannot believe them, $ 3.00, $4.50, $6.00, some even lower!! How does anyone make any money with these prices? It cost me more than that for the fabric, without counting the labor.
What am I doing wrong???

I understand with you completely, I am either underpricing or overpricing compared to others. I wish there was a simple tool that could help with this. Also something to think about is the cost of fabric it varies depending on location and store. Every state in the U.S Is vastly different when it comes to prices.

I, too, have the tendency to underprice. Some of the price difference might have to do with the size of the table runner. I searched "table runner" and looked at a few on the first page. Some of the price difference might be due to the size of the table toppers listed. I can't say for sure because I didn't look at all of them.
I'm a seamstress as well and I thought you prices were very reasonable, with the price of the fabric and and labor and all. I have no idea how on earth one could make money for a $3 table topper. Maybe they have access to fabric at wholesale price or something? Dunno. I don't think you have much to worry about. Your table runners look lovely, by the way.
