As part of my promotional work for myself as an artist I have recently gotten involved with a live art event called Art Battles. ArtBattles is an international live art competition in which 4 artists at each contest paint large scale canvases in front of an audience in 1.5 hours. It's pretty intense. the audience votes on the paintings.
Right now there is an online voting for the top 4 East Coast artists. these 4 will compete agianst each other with the winner being put on the US battle team and travel to Europe to compete. This is a HUGE exposure opportunity for me and my line. Many artbattle artists have been featured on MTV, in magazines and had work hung in Times Square.
