Hey!

My name is Rali and i am a member in the Bulgarian Etsy team. We have topics and petitions here in Bulgaria, asking the Bulgarian post to do everything they can and return the option the track packages sent to USA. I know that Romania has the same problem, but i have limited information about how the problem is going to be solved there.

Can you tell me what the situation is and if your posts will fix this issue, since we are the ones that should upgrade our systems in order to track packages again in USA, UK, Australia, etc.
Did you get any information from the Romanian posts about this problem?

nu stiu raspunsul dar...de vreo 2 sapt usps nu mai arata statusul livrarilor. s-a mai intamplat o data anul trecut cand au facut upgrade. atunci s-a rezolvat in aproximativ o luna.
posta romana nu ofera optiunea de a urmari pachetele decat pe teritoriul Romaniei.

Posta romana ofera tracking pana la iesirea din tara.
Pentru urmarirea coletelor in afara tarii sunt alte servicii:

nu, nici posta romana nu mai ofera tracking. adica ofera tracking dar doar pana la iesirea din tara. in rest nu se mai poate afla nimic
usps-ul nu mai ofera tracking pentru pachetele din Romania deci nici site-urile de urmarire internationala mentionate mai sus nu pot da informatii.
o petitie ar fi buna.

dap, si altii au probleme. se pare ca USPS-ul nu mai asigura tracking decat la pachete din US pentru US:

Eu am urmarit pachetul dupa iesirea din tara cu serviciul postal local. Exemplu concret: Cu postoffice.co.uk. care ii arata ca a intrat in Anglia.

Da, doar SUA nu mai asigura tracking

Serviciul de tracking nu mai functioneaza pe USPS.com,
Incepand cu data de 1 Oct posta SUA a anuntat ca numai anumite tari beneficiaza de tracking pe teritorul Statelor Unite.

Problema este ca noi nu suntem pe lista iar pentru toate comenzile trimise catre US nu mai avem tracking, O sa avem in schimb, clienti nemultumiti ...si multe cereri de refund.

Hello Team!

I am sorry for writing in English, but my Romanian is not good at all :)
I am from Bulgaria and as probably most of you know the tracking to US was refused to us too in October.
Since then we made a lot of petitions, we spoke with BG Posts on the phone every day, until they offered a solution, not perfect, but its still something - now they show the tracking on our website, but only when it enters the country and when its delivered or when there was a delivery attempt.

I was wondering if there is something new in Romania about this issue? Did they fix it, are they working on it, are they even aware? I am interested, because there is a strong possibility that i move there soon and as we know, tracking is very important part of what we do here.

Hello and thank you :) Unfortunately I signed at least 10 more petitions like this one and none of them really worked until now. I think that each country should find a solution by itself... I dont even know what that solution would be, what exactly do they want?? If its a matter of paying a bit more for tracking i am pretty sure most people will agree, so i dont understand why post services just dont do it?

The tracking we can see on BG posts website is some kind of solution, but i am not sure how it will work out if a case is opened. The posts here are really bad, like 19th century bad, so i dont even hope they will do anything more on this issue, but i guess the tracking on their site is much better than nothing.
