Venues

Does anyone here sell anything offline? What kind of venue? How does it work for you? Please tell us something about it.

Re: Venues

I have some things in a small shop in the next town over. If it wern't owned by a friend, I would be moving the things out because she isn't opened enough to make it worth my while. She thinks being there on weekends is enough and it just doesn't get the exposure that I would like.

Re: Venues

We sell at craft / art shows as well at a store locally. Would love to sell in another shop or two, but the times are hard for shop owners right now.

The sales in the store pay my bills some months-it is nice to know that while I do not have a craft show or sales online that I am still selling in a store.

Re: Venues

Our key chains are carried in a store in Martha's Vineyard, as well as locally, and also we are in the process of completing an order for 300 necklaces for music festival vendors on the east coast. Works out well to network :)

Re: Venues

Did craft shows 4 yrs, had store 8 yrs, consignment 20 yrs, on line 1 1/2 yrs,
On line = least overhead, greatest return.
Everything else is a hell of a lot of fun,but the net is world wide.
