Thank you for putting this together! I'm interested in hearing about everyone's experiences at different events. I've done Riot Rooster, Dickens, "Makers Market" & Gingerbread. I'm familiar with Hollydaze & there are a few out of my price range like stocked market. The Gingerbread Festival in Salem for me was more work than it was worth. I love the Pop up art market. ..it's like my home base. I miss our Sundays though (a lot changed this year). Dickens has always been awesome but I'm just too old for all that weather. I don't make much @ the Vintons Farmers Market but i have fun & it's only $5. I do well at the fall craft church shows even though they are mixed with direct sales. I've never had good experiences with the same type of shows held at schools...not sure why but I just avoid them now.

I agree with Dawn—last year the Gingerbread festival was held outside in the most miserable of weather. Hardly any people where walking by, and those who were weren't in the mood to buy (just trying to find some hot food vendors). Maybe it's been more successful in the past but I didn't do well enough to want to do it again.
