bunnies and Stuff

Wondering about the "no swears on Etsy" crap - some sellers blur the swears on their item display photo and listing titles, some don't. Has anyone gotten in trouble for using swears? I prefer to not be censored, but I would also like not to get kicked out.
thanks
Sam

Re: bunnies and Stuff

i had an item up for a while without a censor and nobody said anything. but i had a similar item up WITH a censor, so i censored the first item, but only for consistency purposes. meowever, that's only for the cover photo. the other four have "fuck" on them spelled out

I have a fuck patriarchy cross stitch in my shop and nothing's happened to me, but I have heard of etsy asking people to censor their photos. Not sure how serious it is though.

hmm. I did censor some anyway, but ugh, they look so much worse.

Re: bunnies and Stuff

I had a print with a bit of nudity in it, nothing severe imo - but they asked me to censor it and I did and let them know and they were fine with that. I think you'll only get 'banned' or whatever if you ignore their warnings or something like that? I guess it also depends if a mod or something finds the images or a customer reports something.... I dunno, there's definitely a lack of consistancy censoring.
