BNR means Buy N' Replace the way a simple design works is a person creates a treasury from the team's items then we buy from each other, promote and get other people to buy the items listed. When an item sells the person who purchased it picks one of their own items to replace the sold piece. The BNR captain creates the treasury and maintains all the links and sales in exchange the captain always has one fixed spot in the BNR.
Example:
- Item #1 is a set of earrings from Cutepieceshop at $10
- I purchase item and post the transaction link in the treasury comments along with a link to my item replacement choice.
- Replacement choice is a retro owl hankie from my shop for $12
- Other person buys my hankie and now I made $3 today and I have cute earrings :)
Sometimes you break even for the day but often you can make a profit. They are nice because you get your name out there, you can buy cool Etsy products and your sales and feedback scores go up.
