Woolly Pedlar,
I also am glad to have just found this team. I really love to find garments nobody wants to wear anymore, cut them up and make something else out of it.

Re: Hello and glad to have found you!

Hi everyone! Glad to find this team. I've just started my Etsy shop - A String or Two- focusing on vintage linens, yarn, fabric, etc. plus a few vintage clothes. I've just retired from teaching after 30 years, bought myself a new sewing machine as a retirement gift to me! So far I've reused several dresses from Goodwill to make place mats, napkins & coasters. The best find so far was a huge country style dress that I cut apart & made into two bibbed aprons for gifts! My next venture will be redoing some old denim into woodworkers apron. I don't sell my recycled items, those are given as gifts or kept by me! My store will focus on vintage textiles that can be used as is or repurposed. Glad to be a part of your team!
