Plastic axe

My son thinks that a plastic axe (part of a firefighter set) is the best toy ever created. He's been jumping around and swinging the thing in a wide arc for more than an hour. He tells me that he is going to wack something. I keep correcting him. But he's not catching on.

my dad was a fire fighter.
my brother is a fire fighter.

along with babysitting a ton of italian kids whose parents owned pizza parlors
i also babysat a ton of fire fighters kids.
all of those kids are grown up and a lot of them have kids now.

one girl I babysat, Rachel, bought a house two streets away. She shares Batman with me.
