November goals

October is gone and tomorrow we start another month.. Christmas is approaching fast!!!
I am relatively new to Etsy (opened shop in March but wasn't active till July) and this is my first time setting actual goals for my shop. I feel like if I share them, I'll be more likely to accomplish them.

Here they are:
1. Reach 70 listings (I'm now at 39).
2. Finish my About page.
3. Tweak my policies. I'd like to be more thorough to avoid ambiguity.
4. Design new banner and avatar for the holidays.
5. Organize work space. It's a mess at the moment.
6. Make some sales! Doesn't matter how many!!

I could go on and on but let's be realistic. If I can accomplish this much, I'll be extremely happy. Looks like I have lots to do!

What are your goals for November? Did you accomplish October's?

My goals for November?

1) Try to keep my stock up during this hectic season and get every order shipped within 24 hours.

2) meet my November revenue goals.

Yes, I met my October goal. Each month my primary goal is to reach a target revenue as its $$$ that put food on the table.

- $2000 in sales
- Have a successful Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale.
- Keep on top of my stock! I have a huge list of items to restock, not to mention there's still a few new items I'd like to add to my store before the sale.

Keep tweaking tags. I am about 1/3 the way through my listings
Start tweaking photos

I have quite a few gem shows this month so it will be challenging to keep both venues running at peak

For November:

-photograph and list the potholders I have made and ready to ship.
-finish 50 sets of Christmas potholders and 20 others.
-get my shop to 75-100 listings before Black Friday.
-$300 in revenue.

Now I've handed my notice in at my job my targets are a lot more important! For November I'm aiming for:-

-£350+ sales
-12 orders
-70 items in shop
-photo shoot
-more ready to ship items for xmas

I would like to get up to 100 listings

That is my only real goal this month. I am just going to see what happens with that. I am going with the flow this month and just seeing where things take me.

November is a whole new chapter in my life. My job was eliminated effective 10-31, so Etsy takes a bigger role now! My goals:
1. Double my monthly views. (that's probably easy since it's only my 2nd month on Etsy.)
2. Add new products, one listing every day.
3. Promote my business every day in at least 2 ways.
Thanks for giving me a space to publicly state those goals! Now, I'm committed!! <grins>

It's only the first and I just added 2 more listings and will probably have time to add 3 or 4 more today. Hopefully, I will end the day with 45 listings... a little closer to my goal of 70 for this month. So far so good!

Since it's almost mid month, how is everyone doing?

I've had my photography but got a huge custom order that took up my sewing time for the 50 potholders I wanted to get done. However, they are cut and ready to be sewn.

Wow Tisha, congrats on that big custom order!! I have some updates for tidymighty, I am at $100 in sales, so almost halfway to goal. For this shop, I am already almost at my goal!

I also went stamp shopping and was able to add a new product (finally)!

I forgot to do my November goals out loud this month, but my ultimate goal is to hit 300 sales by my 1 year anniversary (November 30th) and I am currently at 264...so I am very hopeful that I will meet my goal!

Hi everyone! Here's my little update:
My goal is to reach 70 listings this month. I'm now at 57 (started with 39) and I have more items ready to list so I should reach that one no problem. I may surpass it, I hope!
I did organize my workspace, and still continue to do so. i just bought a couple of shelves I'll be installing tomorrow. It's just that I have so much stuff! I could be featured in that show " Hoarders"... Luckily, it's just my office and not my entire home. Lol!
As for sales, I have one for the month. I said I didn't care how many so goal accomplished.. i still wish for more nonetheless.
I still have to work on policies and about page.
Overall... Looking good!

Hi Everyone, My November Goal is that I will post at list 2 lots of beach pottery per day!, shouldn t be difficult , my house is filled with it, Too many walks and too big pockets

Already doing pretty good!
1. So far this month, I have the same number of views as I had all last month, that's right on track for doubling my number of views!!
2. I've been able to add at least one new listing every day.
3. Doing pretty good with promoting, either on etsy, FB or my blog, at least twice every day.

How are the rest of you coming along? I hope you're making progress!

Didn't get a chance to put ours online but we're ticking along nicely this month.

- Sales are on par with what we'd hoped for over the 2 shops,
- our Black Friday/Cyber Monday marketing is done and sorted, the sales are ready to go. Just need to update shop banner/avatar which I'll be doing Thursday.
- All that's needed now is the time and internet access to get everything back to normal.

My goal for the month was to reach 200 listings. I'm at 175 now, so I think I'll reach my goal, even if I take a bit of a break this week to catch up on some custom orders and other tasks. :)

It's the last day of November ... and I'm looking at how I did on my goals.

1. Success! Did just a bit more than double.
2. Added lots of new products, more than 1 per day!
3. Pretty sure I did this, but didn't actually track it. sigh.

I just joined this team this month, but my goals were:

* To get to 150 listings (I got to152)
* to get to 50 sales (48!)
* To clean my area/office/inventory ( my husband moved in my new to me desk, and I did a couple of more boxes of inventory).

Christine, sounds like you did pretty good in setting achievable goals, since you're so close on one and over by a smidge on the first.
