My first treasury!

Just finished my very first treasury! Anyone want to give me an opinion?? How did I do? I was also wondering if I tell all the shop owners that they were included... thanks for any input!!

Nice job! It's beautiful ... great color combinations. I've read that it's a nice thing to do to send a convo to the owners you featured .... and let them know that you included them. It's a way to have a chance to tell them thank you for having great items!

I just found out last night that there weren't any notifications when you are featured in a treasury. I convoed everyone in my treasuries and it made a huge difference!

Yeah, not that I mind sending a convo, but an auto notification would be a good perk!

I haven't been selling on Etsy for too long, but I have noticed that there are a lot of situations that a notification would be helpful. But I am getting the hang of it :)

Out of curiosity, what do you guys write when you send a convo about a treasury? I've only been featured once (that I know of!), and I did receive a convo but it came off kind of salesy. 'check out the treasury...I'm doing xyz you should follow along...check out my shop..." etc. I'd hate to come off like I'm trying to advertise myself!

I usually just write the basics, "hi, wanted to let you know you are in my new treasury its ************ hope you like it, have a great day!"
Thats what I write, but I am very new to this...lol

I have recieved messages that have just said "new treasury"

I just found out I was in a few treasuries and I had no idea, I like to see my items featured, so I will definatly always let people know! I was sending "thank yous" three months later :-)

Hi Krystal,

I just checked out & fav'd your treasuries! Very nice job!! It took me a long time to realize that Etsy doesn't send notifications to featured shop owners! Now I like to go through and send everyone a quick convo in case they miss it in their feed. I just say something like "I featured your item in my "___________" treasury! Enjoy!" And post a link to it. Yeah, definitely not a place to "market" yourself. That seems like bad form! :-)

Krystal, you have a great eye for making treasuries! You pick items that relate really well and that have nice professional looking photos. The are very eye catching. Keep 'em coming cause I want to see what you put together next! :)
