At what point...

I'm working towards being one of those people that post on here "QUIT MY DAY JOB TODAY!"

It won't be today sadly but I wanted to ask those who specifically fell back to working part time to focus more on their business...was it a smooth transition? Did you finally just get frustrated? At what point did you know it was time to make that decision.

If you can imagine a scale for moment and picture all the weight on the "day job" side and a small even tiny weight on "my business" side. Right now I'm working on getting them to be evenly balanced and eventually all the weight on "my business" side of the scale.

Maybe I just need to manage my time better but I find that things like going to the post office and running errands during the workday(lunch hour) are starting to become an issue. When you work full time I think you have to do things when time allows but I feel like I'm in warp speed trying to get all the things done that need to be done. At this point I feel like I could make way more product and therefore money from my jewelry if I had more time to sit down and focus on just that. I couldn't operate fully at my day job if I were to stay up all hours of the night making product for my line....

I guess I'm just curious about other forum members experience with cutting back hours at work to part time to focus more on their business and what finally made them do it. Any specific event that made you say "okay, it's time."
