Quilt for my man.

My husband is a firefighter and keeps hinting that he wants a quilt (by me) for his bed at work. Any suggestions for a manly quilt block that can handle lots of prints?

This wouldn't handle a lot of prints, but would be wonderful for a firefighter. :-)

I made my husband a rag quilt for him to use, it's only 2 layers of flannel and not too hard to make and very warm.
