Hi! I have the Mauzy book too. There's also "Pyrex by Corning: A Collector's Guide." I like that even more! For an online resource, there's also The Pyrex Files. They have some pieces that aren't on Pyrex Love.
http://dragonfire1.50megs.com/Pyrex/Pyrex.htmI'd be careful with relying too much on the values quoted in some of those books though. If you're collectiing for your personal collection, they're a bit irrelevant, because a piece's value is only releveant to you. If you're looking to sell, that's when you have to be careful. I collect Pyrex too, and I'm in a couple collector's groups. I see many people upset about what they perceive to be high prices online and in thrift stores. For instance, the Mauzy book has an Old Orchard bowl valued at $8-$10 per bowl. That is not a very popular pattern, and I can't imagine the average Pyrex collector I've come across paying $10 for Old Orchard. This is not to say that there are not many items in the books whose values are pretty accurate. A lot depends on where you find it and of course condition. Of course, there's an exception to every rule. These are just my personal views. LOL!
