I decided to call my shop "TheMapleChest" simply because I live in Vermont. I know it may confuse people since I do not sell maple syrup BUT my husband came up with the name and I just liked it!

I have clients in my little village who I help to sell items for them. I enjoy it and really enjoy it when I get something a little extra ordinary. Right now I've got a really old and cool set of snowshoes made out of Quebec Canada. They could be 50+ years old!! However, my feature item I'd like to share is a rare Koret purse that's from the 50/60s. It does have some condition issues inside the purse but wow, the outside is fantastic!

I also sell on ebay for items that are not appropriate for Etsy; my store is also called TheMapleChest.

I love the creativity here on Etsy and how welcoming people have been. What a fantastic concept for the artists on here to help get them much needed exposure and sales!

I had my first sale after several months just the other day and wow, that felt fantastic!

Thank you again and I plan on checking out at least one item from all of your stores.
