I started my shop in early 2019 but took a pretty long break and just recently started selling actively again (December 2019) but for purposes of the question we’ll only take into account this year... I don’t know anyone else who sells on Etsy so I’m curious as to what my reach, sales, visits, etc. should look like in that period of time?
Welcome to the group! Your stats will vary depending on your product. I would look at the stats from your competitors and see how they have done in the same time frame for some guidance. This will give you some idea of what to expect.
Honestly, it depends on what you are selling, how you sell etc.. Definitely would suggest you start visiting knife forums. Many collector forums such as knives and coins will allow you to link your shop after a certain amount of time, and you do have beautiful, but rather specialized items.
Maybe also list alternative uses? Kitchen wear, carving maybe? List youtube vids showing how to make the handles for the knives?
If you have stuff that people really wanted and you're selling it cheap you will sell a lot. If you have some what people want and your around the same price as Amazon and the rest of the big e-commerce sellers you will sell much. The hardest thing to figure out is what people really want. If you figure that out everyone will appreciate you letting us know.
