Etsy Shop Performance During Pandemic ...

Hello folks ..

Just wondering how your sales have been during the pandemic ? I have been doing very OK  and shipping almost daily. 

One problem I have had is items arriving .. The postal systems are running slow and its important to set proper expectations. What normally took a week now has taken over a month here in North America.

I have had a few problems shipping to various places in the state of Nevada. One too the northern part and the other south. Not sure if anyone else has had problems.

On a side note I get spammed here alot in this forum ... If you are doing promotions for FB, twitter or anything else please do not contact me in this regard. Your messages just say fb promo and NO DETAILS ...  If you are looking for work please add more detail or move your efforts to fivver. I believe this forum is for sharing your ideas about Promotion and Sales ....  not selling  a service.

also doing extremely well regarding sales......I know with people being home so much they are finding my shop.....I like all the sales and work it gives me in my workshop to keep me sane......but I really do not need that many sales as a result of everyone having to stay in......a big prayer for all to stay safe and hopefully a positive attitude will get us back sooner to a better normal.....Thad

I know what you mean about the spam in this forum. Its frustrating. My sales are down. Hopefully things will change soon. Stay healthy......jen

State of Nevada Update ....  I spoke to a friend in Oklahoma last night ... he stated many carriers for the USPS in NV are off so mail is not getting delivered timely. He suggested I tell people there 7 - 10 weeks instead of days as its more likely to take that long ... Stay safe ... Peace and Blessings Tommy G

The market is dead. Even some placed orders, they would cancel eventually because of the interruption of international shipping. 
Time to rethink of our business mode.

Luckily, it seems that I have a product that many people want so my sales have really increased.....Since I have a larger item to ship, I found that UPS is very easy, about the same price as the post office, and service has been consistently very good.....stay safe....Thad
