I now have TWO shops on Etsy..... my original shop does well but it's all Swarovski www.Etsy.com/shop/LS4Swarovski so I opened another shop for Gemstone Healing jewelry - not necessarily Swarovski www.Etsy.com/MysticJourneyShop Gemstones fascinated me so I started making the Gemstone jewelry that lead me in a different direction from beadweaving Swarovski to wire wrapping gemstones. I'm getting traffic on my new shop but no orders yet except what I'm selling in person (doing well in person). I know it'll take time. My original shop opened in 2013 but didn't really take off till Fall of 2015. Anyone opening a new shop, fill out everything you can, take more than 1 good picture of each item, pass out business cards as often as you can, advertise where you can (Facebook page, Google shopping, promoted listings, etc.) Adding new items often or renewing items helps PLUS don't forget to update your "shop announcement" often - that helps too. I have 40 items in my new shop - 168 in my original shop. I read that things start happening the more items you have to offer. Check out what successful shops are doing, their pictures, wording, etc. You can pick up some tips sometimes that could work for you. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
