I was having the hardest time understanding how to post some other person's etsy items onto stumbleupon using google chrome. Here is a how to...I hope it helps save someone the 6 hours of confusion and frustration that I was faced with this morning...
GOOGLE CHROME FOR STUMBLEUPON
1. Google search stumbleupon toolbar download, download it and you will get the stumbleupon icon, then drag the stumbleupon icon to your toolbar
2. Once you have the stumbleupon icon click it and create your stumbleupon account name and password (don't forget to write it all down)
3. Create your profile and add your avatar photo don't forget to save
4. To add someone else's link to stumbleupon, go to their image (as in someone here on Etsy), right click the Etsy image which grabs their url for their item
5. Go back to stumbleupon icon, click the icon (sign in if you haven't already)
6. Once signed in, look at the top right of your stumbleupon page
7. Click on the home icon (little pic of a house)
8. Click profile on the top right of the page
9. Scroll down to the bottom left of the page and see in small letters "add new page link"
10. Click add new page link
11. Left click your mouse and click paste (this adds the url image to your stumbleupon page)
12. Go through the list stumble has provided for the type of item you are adding
13. Add appropriate tags
14. Leave comments about the item
15. You are nearly done!
16. Then you can see the results of what you have just done...at the top of the page when you are finished pasting and adding comments, there is a link that at the top that states something like this... view the page or items you have just added and voila...you are done!
17. Warning: Be sure not to post just Etsy items because it is considered spam and you may be locked out of your account. Be sure to like other items than Etsy items by clicking the stumble icon and clicking some likes.
18. If you are using a search engine other than google chrome search, the directions are likely to be different...but I wanted to help someone who is using google chrome! I hope this helps! Once you get the hang of it...it really is simple!
