Hi! I'm an American located in the state of Pennsylvania. I'm an artist and absolutely love creating things. My creations range from typical oil paintings to using gourds for art. As an artist I want to make ordinary things extraordinary.

Please feel free to look me up and message me. I love meeting new people and readily receive critiques on my stuff (including my page). My Facebook page is open to the public whether you are a Facebook user or not.

Re: Welcome to the team

Hi, I'm Kelly,
I joined Etsy in April 2012. I'm a Wisconsin native, but have lived in Colorado many more years. I love making things and creating new ideas. I see things when I'm out and about that really spark my imagination and get the wheels turning! It can happen in the most unlikely places! I'm really excited to be a part of this team and Etsy.

Re: Welcome to the team

Hi I'm Audrey! I have two sweetie little girls and a husband who works super hard. I love creating and I will try my hand at just about anything. I've been on etsy for a few months but took a haiatus when we were moving resettling. Now I'm back and ready to start really digging into my shop and getting out there.
I love working with fabric, so a lot of my items will likely be sewn. I also love making accessories such as barrettes, cuffs, and little bits of jewelry. I figure that if it is something I'd love to have/wear/use then other people would as well, right?
Thanks so much for letting me join and I look forward to promoting with you!

Re: Welcome to the team

My shop started while I was at an adoption party for a friend of mine. I just happen to bring some items that I had made to show her. One of her friends saw them and said that I should start setting up a store to sell them. Of course I thought it was a good idea, but at the time I was only 13, how was I going to be able to keep a store up. That's when I found Etsy. It's easy for me to upload items and cost basically nothing. Enough of that, now I'm 15 and my sewing skills have improved, I started out making crayon rolls and am now able to sew skirts, and other items that are more advanced. Everywhere I go I get great compliments on my handy work. I hope I can keep kids happy with the items I make, it gives me a big smile on my face when I see kids open up their gifts that I make them. Now like I said earlier Kid's are life to me, and it's true. Having three younger siblings and around 15 cousins there's a lot of love going around. I find it hard not to surround myself with kids everyday. On top of my store I babysit, sew and attend school everyday. During the summer I like to sew, sew, and sew. Some of my friends call me nuts, but it's my passion. Everyday I get inspired to make new and fun gifts for babies or toddlers. Hopefully you guys take the time and check out my store, your sure to find something that you love.

Re: Welcome to the team

Hi. I am Ellen.I have two shops on Etsy. The first shop I opened (2008) was LyonsCreations where I sold mostly gold plated angels and ornaments. Now, I am selling the supplies I no longer need as well as many stained glass an mosaic items.
My other shop is SpiderwoodHollow where I sell spiders and spider webs as well as well as other bugs.
I am originally from Canada but now am living in the states with my husband and two cats. I also care for six feral cats on our property.
Looking forward to meeting the other members of this team.

Re: Welcome to the team

Hi, I'm Karen. My husband and I run our shop together and opened it up a couple of years ago. We truly love what we do, and we'd like to be able to grow so that we can do this full time. By that, I mean I'd love to quit my corporate world job. I'm a good boss to myself, and I'm an excellent employee, so it just seems to fit. ;) I joined this team hoping it is a close knit team, and I'll be poking around to see what's going on. It's nice to meet all of you.

Re: Welcome to the team

Hello, I have just joined your team today ;-)

I hand sculpt from scatch polymer clay flowers which I then incorporate into my Jewellery, Hair Accessories and more all of which are unique in their own way.

I've been on Etsy for nearly a year but only started to get sales at beginning of 2013, I still have a lot of work to do on my shop I think to get found.

Most of my work is aimed at the Wedding & Special Occassion market but do also have some daywear peices too.

I enjoy what I do and work hard as and when I can while running round after my 19mnth old & Tean into the early hours at times because I would love for my business to succeed.

Re: Welcome to the team

Hi Natasha, I to am new. Welcome, I have added your shop to my favorites and started following your shop. If we cant get sales "kick started" by ourselves we can help each other. Your shop is great. I also work hard and long hours, however my son is grown and lives on his own. I could not imagine trying to do all I do in my work shop every day and try to keep up with a little one (or two).
Although, I would if that is what I had to do. Keep up the good work.
:-)

Re: Welcome to the team

Hello, I just joined your team today.
My name is Shelley. I am fairly new to Etsy (joined the end of January 2013.)
I've had a few sales but have been experiencing quite a slump lately, despite my best efforts to promote, improve my page, take better photos, etc.! Anyway, I'm hopeful that things will get better soon!
I make eco friendly, bohemian jewelry and accessories. Please check out my page. If anyone has any suggestions on any improvements, I welcome advice!

Re: Welcome to the team

Hi, I'm Kate of GalleryKNicholson. I live in Dallas, and am basically a painter and creative writer. I live on a lake in North Texas with my dogs and cats and love to interpret nature in all her glory via oils, watercolors, mixed-media, pastels, paper mache, collage, fiber arts and whatever I have to use to make the statement I am trying to share. I love the ETSY model of cooperative marketing. It's brilliant and could only be accomplished by the open, creative minds of artists and craftspeople. I look forward to helping you and trusting the Universe to bless me in return. Thank you all for sharing your gifts. Kate
