Why is your blog special?

I'd like to know, what is it that you think makes your blog special? There are hundreds of craft blogs out there, so what makes yours stand out?

I run the blog Pinwheel, and it's about me, a teenage crafter who loves to sew, quilt and make cute things out of felt. My blog is special because I'm a teenager, and not many teenagers are prepared to make crafts and blog about them. At least, that's what I think...

What about you? Why is your blog special?

Well , I think that my blog is special because I'm an italian artist, illustrator and designer and I love create with everything pass by my hands. Yes, I'm not a teenager, but I have a teenage spirit, and in my blog you can find many things about my creation and my personal vision.
I love Rock- alternative- metal music, I'm an old goth-punk-lady and have many friends who share my interest. I love books, occultism, history and historical places (and in Italy we have many ancient places I want to know and share with my readers).
I love creativity and I think a blog is the best way to meet people with similar passions.

That is a question.

I think my blog is special because I like to share. I don't just share things that I make, I share other's products, items, feature other Artists (from Etsy) or those that I know in real life vs internet "friends". I try to keep topics fresh as well as have days devoted to specific topics. There are photos, tutorial videos, links, and I'd like to think not only is it informative but entertaining.

I try not to blog too much about personal things, but I list items, new projects that I am working on, new materials that may relate to other craft-people.

I think every one's blog is special because it reflects them, their thoughts and sometimes their process, making it unique to them.

I agree with you Alix about everyone's blog being special. It is probably most special to the blogger who is writing it.

I really enjoy blogging and hope that people enjoy reading what I write! I post about various topics. You just never know what you'll read next on my blog. Some days it is funny things my kids say or do. Other days like today, it is something funny I myself did. I also feature fellow Etsians on my blog and I will sometimes post funny e-mail jokes too.

i'm not saying that my blog is special or unique in any way, just that i write about things i don't see a lot of people writing about, especially when it comes to things in my home town.
