I'm a card maker. I have been making cards since 1999. I'm married to a wonderful man who supports everything I do. We have two cats that serve as spoiled rotten children. I am a child of God and try to live by the rule of treat everyone like you would like to be treated. So lets get the card sales up and have each other promote their items.

Re: Introduce yourself to the team.

Hello! I have been designing greeting cards for many years. I used to work for Greeting Card Universe but left them when they decided to cut our pay in half. I learned a lot while I was there. Enough to venture out on my own and start my own greeting card business under the same name I used while I was working for them. It is nice to work for myself. I have greeting card stores at Zazzle, Send A Smile, and here on Etsy. I have already made my first sale here. Which is very impressive to me. I create 100% handmade greeting cards, printed greeting cards printed through printing companies (with my own designs), and e-cards which I create from scratch. I also do custom cards and e-cards with client's photos, names, dates, and text. I live in Stony Point, NC with my husband of 23 years and five children, one girl and four boys. I have two other stores here at Etsy. One for my photography, and one for my woodworking. My daughter has a store here and so does my husband. My daughter sells handmade knitted items. My husband sells woodworking also. I also breed Pomeranians under the name "Tiny-Paws-Kennel". I am a very busy lady, just the way I like it. I have recently bought me a Cricut Cuttlebug machine so I can do embossed paper greeting cards. It only came with one embossing folder but I'm looking forward to purchasing more to add to the embossings that I can do. I am very happy to be a part of this group and I look forward to talking and learning with you all.

Re: Introduce yourself to the team.

Hi, I found this team, while I was checking status links on another team in Etsy.

I love paper, and grew up scrapbooking with my mom, way before it became a store/job. Until recently, I only shared my cards for Christmas and some birthdays. So recently, I quit my normal, hectic 9-8 job and after cleaning the closets, a few rooms, half the basement, I opened my Etsy shop. Had some cards already made to list and then starting creating new cards.

Custom card orders include: Baby's first birthday-thank you cards, my cousin's wedding invitations, all paper items (and painted table numbers) for my wedding, thank you cards for my sister, graduation announcements, and through Etsy, I was asked to make Golf card, House warming card, and Unique Thank You cards with a swear word stamp.

I'm always up for a challenge, I dream in paper, and when there is time (warm weather = garden/yard work) I like to sit and work in my craft room. I have a long list of suggestions from family and friends, so be sure to check back often for new cards.
:)

Re: Introduce yourself to the team.

I started my greeting card store in 2008 on Etsy. I actually have been creating cards for over 15 years. I live in South Carolina. I love paper, stamps and just about everything paper.

I am married and enjoy the time we have on our back deck. I do work part time for the Home Depot. But wish I had more time in my studio.

I hope to get to know you all. Hugs and blessing coming your way.

Carol
