Hi all,
Please tell me if I was wrong for telling a customer that she should have read my shop policy first. She was a international customer who placed an order and she thinks I charged to much. I think when she seen that shipping price she thought that was all she needed to pay. It cost me more to ship the earrings then what I had listed for shipping. She has given me a bad review because she did not read the policy and she had to pay $32 once it arrived and she is upset about it. Below is a portion of my policy about shipping.
"Purchases for listed items will ship within 1-3 business day upon receipt of your payment. International shipments can take a week or more to arrive. Purchases will be shipped through United States Postal Service (USPS). There will be an extra charge if you need expedited service. For international customers import/custom taxes or duties are the responsibility of the receiver. GYD Creations does not collect any customs charges when sending your purchase. Customs fees, tariffs, taxes, etc. that may be acquired at the time of import/delivery would be at the discretion of your country tax regulations and are your responsibility."
Has anyone else had international customers upset, because they had to pay more money once the product arrived?
