Is it my prices or my photos?

I have made a few sales but not really enough compared to the amount of views. Am I charging too much? Is it my photos or my description of the items? I am jsut nto sure what people are shying away from. Please help thanks!

I would say it is your prices but don't lower them by much if any! Your items probably take a looong time to make, so they're a good price. But if you get fewer sales for more money, it about evens up. Good luck :)

Re: Is it my prices or my photos?

I think it's the prices... Depends on how much the basic heels cost you, though. But mod-podging (do you use mod-podge? Is it even called that in English?) pieces of paper to a shoe isn't that hard to do, though the idea is very original (I think). Also I cringed a bit at the idea of cutting up an actual book in order to make shoes :p
And also I think this is illegal, as you technically need a licence to produce items with Harry Potter, Star Wars, Assassin's creed etc. on them.

Re: Is it my prices or my photos?

I think the prices of your shoes are high, but this coming from the girl who panics if she has to pay over $20 for shoes, lol! :) I think they are probably worth a lot since they have popular names on them..and the idea is so neat!

I think that the number of sales you've had in the time you've been open is actually quite good...better than my shop at this time last year! So keep up the good work!

Re: Is it my prices or my photos?

Hello, Natasha;

What a clever fun idea.....much talent went into your products and the detailing would take much time. I think your pricing is very well considered and since you have 15 sales in the 3 months that you have been open, I would say that your customers agree.

I have been informed that some of my photos are either too dark, have distractions in the shot or need to be shot differently. I would like to suggest that you try to shoot them in a light box that is covered with white seamless paper for a floating bright shot to highlight just how beautiful your items really are.

Your items are what I believe would be called targeted to a niche market. Perhaps you might want to consider favoring other sellers sites and their treasuries to get more exposure and to build a greater following.

Other than that....I say congratulations on your success.

Please feel free to critique my site.....I will be making some changes this weekend.

Have a beautiful profitable New Year!!
