I think my prices may need some tweaking...

Specifically I'm looking at my fingerless gloves and my scarves. I tried to base the prices for those on similar items I've seen here on Etsy. I don't want to seem like I'm overcharging for fairly simple things, but at the same time, I don't want to undercharge so as to seem cheap.

I think my other prices are okay, but any suggestions are appreciated!

Re: I think my prices may need some tweaking...

I'm a knitter and I had tried selling some stuff on Etsy and locally. It's hard because there are a lot of people, for whatever reason, that sell handmade items cheaply. I know the time and love that go into these things! I think people should be able to charge more. As a result of all this, pricing for crocheted or knit items is tough. But I truly think you have a perfect balance here. IMO, I wouldn't want to see you go cheaper. Especially since your shipping is so reasonable.

Fingerless gloves and scarves can be priced higher, IMO. I would say the best thing you can do is work on your photos and list more stuff. I am a big fan of solid colored backgrounds (I chose a light grey instead of stark white so it doesn't look like it's floating too much and I still get that professional look.) As soon as I re-did all my photos I started getting more sales, views, and favorites.

If you DO redo all your photos, I would suggest increasing all your prices by 10% (or whatever you feel is fit) for the time spent perfecting them.

Re: I think my prices may need some tweaking...

Thanks for the feedback, folks. :-)

I definitely don't want to go cheaper on anything. Fawn, I may do some with a solid background, but if I do, it will probably just be the first thumbnail, since I really like the outdoor shots. :-)

Think bumping the scarves by $2 and the gloves by one would be better?

Also, Mary, my shipping's based on weight, and so far everything's fairly light. My only concern about shipping prices is for the Fuzzkins--its almost as much to ship them overseas as they cost to buy!
