Am I over or under charging?

Hi guys,
Could you look through my shop and let me know if my product prices need to increase or decrease.

Thank you!

Well from my limited experience i think your items have good prices, i mean its handmade original jewelery i dont think you should go lower or if you do just go down a couple of buck, hey but what do i know i havent sold a thing yet lol, maybe you should give me advise since you already sold some
Anyway very nice items on your shop , im gonna spend some money on it as soon as i get some sales

Re: Am I over or under charging?

I think most of your prices are good. If I were you, I would raise the prices of things like earrings. I think $5 is too little. I could see those earrings doing well at even $14 or so.

I think the trick is to get more stuff listed. The more you have, the more you sell. Also photography. Maybe try a lightbox? That way you can see the details in all your pieces. You have beautiful jewelry, showcase it!

Cute shop! You could def afford to raise your prices a bit. I know you just opened but you really have to add more items to your shop and take fab photos. Best of luck to you! Congrats on your first sale!

Re: Am I over or under charging?

Hello :-)

I have just taken a look at your shop and the items you have are beautiful. I agree that you should up the price on your Earrings as they can be sold for higher. as think they are pretty low priced

I am pretty new to advertising etc also and have been asking critiques for help which has helped me get where I am today but still have a long way to go to get a sale on Etsy.

The advice I was given which I feel is putting me in the right direction is:

1) Photo's - try to take a number of photo's for the same product in different views so that the customer can get more of an idea of that item

2) Good Lighting and clear photo's - I am still trying to work on this myself and found that a Light Box really does help especially when can't get decent daylight due to bad weather (I brought my Light Box on E-Bay for a very fair price)

3) List more creations, I have been advised at least 1 item a day (I know that is not always possible) so just regular

4) Join lots of advertising teams, post your creations as well as favorite other shops and build a network

5) Pricing - Make sure you are happy with your pricing (taking into account the cost of material, Labour & Profit) This is another I have had to learn lately as was charging extremely low prices (so when I did get a sale on Facebook or in Boutique where I sell, I was very excited to have a sale but didn't make any profit at all)

I really hope this helps and lots of good luck

Oh also, I have found this very helpful - Take a look at the COMMUNITY TAB & ONLINE LABS on the drop down list, they give extremely helpful advice on how to get your shop seen as well as looking at BLOGS TAB then clicking on SELLER HANDBOOK

xx

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the feedback! I'm still having trouble with lighting and am now considering a light box.
