Putting party elements on one page

Hello all! I am a graphic designer who currently does a few 8x10- poster prints for my Etsy shop, but my real passion is invitation design and party planning and I plan on gearing my shop that direction for the new year.

I do most of my designing in Indesign CS6. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how they export their designs to a single page pdf to send to people? Its something I've never had to do before and would love it if there was an easy way to export them to one page.

i don't have indesign in front of me at the moment (i use it at work to create ads every once in awhile...). i'm still quite a novice, but i do know theres a way to save and/or export to a print-ready pdf from the file menu.
