Hi everyone,
What do you think are the most popular birthday themes for boys, girls, teens, adults? I seem to make things for themes that I like, rather than what others like. Any suggestions are welcomed!

Thanks for joining the group. Well I've been doing a ton of research and I've been seeing a lot of Sock Monkey, Dr. Seuss, cowboy/cowgirl themes, Casino, Cupcake or Ice Cream themes, Luau, Circus, Jungle Animals, Ballerina, Spa parties. Hope this helps!

I've seen a lot of rainbow parties (had one myself for my daughter's first birthday) and moustaches are very "in" right now.

My #1 seller for over a year now has been Pink Minnie Mouse with zebra print!!

I'm pretty new to Etsy, and I'm not sure if this is just because of my listings , but it seems like there are a large amount of dinosaur birthday parties going on!! At least that's what I've been getting requests and the most traffic for!

Hello!! I am new to this team, but I think Mickey and Minnie will always be very popular with little kids. I have confetti and cupcake toppers that would fit in with that theme very well!!!

Batman / superhero theme seems to be generating a lot of traffic to my site.

also cute things like bees, owls, frogs, bears, monkeys, etc. ....things that might be nicknames for babies =)

Circus themed with big top tents seem popular. I think the old timey candy shop buffet is also trendy for birthdays of all ages. Lots of vintage right now. Pennants & banners for decor.

For the people who do the Disney themes or similar, aren't you worried about copyright and being sued ? I'd never do any "named" themes for the fear of being sued by a big corporation.

Not only that, but I expect others to respect my work and follow my TOU's - would be hypocritical to abuse the work of others.

I think nautical is pretty popular right now.... especially for baby showers.
