My name is Alecia. I've been on Etsy for a couple of years now as a chainmail designer, but I just recently decided it was time to open a new shop! I got into paper goods when I was planning my wedding - I did everything from my flowers to my invitations myself.
I can make most paper goods, but I specialize in favor boxes, envelopes, and notebooks. I'm trying to have the bulk of my items made from upcycled or recycled materials.

Hi I'm Skyler, I live in Colorado with my husband and our two dogs. My husband and I both are in the US Air Force and are stationed here. When I began planning my own wedding I found it more fun and exciting than stressful. My favorite parts were designing and printing all my own paper products. Invitations, RSVPs, programs, everything. I loved it! I had used Etsy to buy other things for the wedding but I had never thought of opening up my own shop. But I took the plunge and its great! My shops started out as just a paper product shop but after only a few days I began adding antique crystal and glassware. I am a huge collector and I wanted to share my good finds. As far as the paper products I like classic simple elegance. I also do whimsical designs. I love catering to the customer. Any color they want, a different font, anything to make it their own. I also do completely custom designs. I also plan on having DIY printable designs. I would love to get out there more since I am fairly new to Etsy but i am glad to be part of the team!
Hello! My name is Heather and I am the owner of and designer for Id & Ego Creations and I opened my shop here on Etsy in April. I provide colorful, simple and fun products with personality. ;) I design, print, cut and assemble invitations for any occasion, greeting cards, note cards, and small gifts such as book marks, sun catchers, ornaments...and now I'm designing party accessories like banners, garland, cupcake/cake toppers and centerpieces! I'm going to be photographing more party accessories that I have designed, plus designing more in the future. Right now I'm concentrating on things for the holidays.
I'm a one woman show...for now! I love to do custom work and I can custom color any of my designs for my client. Excellent customer service is very important to me, so that's what I provide!

Any suggestions how I can promote my shop and make it more successful. I opened my shop about a week ago and haven't had a sell yet? What can I do?!?
Hi Brooke! Your stuff is really cute - I'd add more, if you can and if you have it ready! I think people like to see more options.
I've been here since April, and I'm still getting a hang of things. I've had 2 sales (to friends) and I've come to the conclusion that it must take some time to establish your name/shop. My cousin sells furniture here on Etsy, and he's doing really well, but he said it takes time...and patience. It's also helpful to join teams and add people to your circle. If you see a shop that you admire, add them to your circle! This way it gets your work out to them, and to other people in their circles through the activity feed.
I know that wasn't a concrete answer or anything, but...I think with some perserverence and patience, things will happen for you. :)
I also meant to say that people who have shops here on Etsy are also buyers! If you add people to your circle, they may think of you when they need something that you offer! Just a thought.
