Hey Guys!
Happy March 1!! So, at the begining of every month I'll start a new thread - otherwise the discussion threads get really really long if you don't close them off every once in a while!

So, I don't know if I mentioned this buy I'm expecting a new little baby girl this May!! I was hoping to go off work today but, of course, my OB thought that was a bit premature! Grrrrrrr...... oh well!!!

My name is Jessica and I'm the mother of two (Aiden - 3 yrs, Amelia - 2.5 months) and reside in NJ. I also have a husband and a cockerspaniel to round out the family. Im currently on maternity leave until May, but when I am working, I work as a child and adolescent (counseling) therapist. Fun Stuff!!!

Welcome to all the new members! And thank you for all the promotion efforts, Jen. Your blog is beautiful. There are so many "finds" in there. Hours of exploring - after the kids go to bed, and the sewing is finished. Haha!

I have a question: Do you all list a new item as soon as you make it? I seem to have a stumbling block with taking pictures, downloading and writing up my listing. Any helpful tips on streamlining this process? I have dozens of items that are not posted, and really should be!

I list in bunches so they get noticed better in searches. But, I always just renew things for the most part as all my stuff is custom anyway so it's not like I have what's listed in stock. I usually renew a minimum of 5 or 6 at a time.

When I do have new listings I usually sit down, do my photo editing and list them at the same time. Just easier for my schedule.

On that note: you're not going to sell it if it isn't listed!

I have a question related to posting items.... Do any of you notice a time of day or day of the week that works best for you when posting? I haven't really found the best time to post yet (when I get the most views).

I think I post at bad times...ususally later in the evening - after my daughter goes to bed! With time changes and stuff, I'm guessing it's later for most people, but hopefully they see it when they first log on in the morning?!?!

With that in mind - new listing!! Had an idea and ran with it...not sure though if I led with the right picture. Based on the pic can you tell what it is meant to be?

Jen, I couldn't tell based on the first picture. But your title is good and after reading the description, I get it! Maybe for the first picture, use the "3 months" message instead of the "i love you". Or maybe lead with the last picture with the divider on the hanger and put a message on the divider.

Pictures are so hard!!! I felt like I spent all day today messing and tweaking pictures and fixing pictures I wasn't really happy with. Ugggg!

Here's my latest listing. I spent hours today working on these pictures and I'm still not completely happy with them. Do you ever feel like your items are so cute in person and the photos don't begin to show how cute it is?

I haven't found my perfect time to post either!...sometimes it's first thing, sometimes it's at lunch or after kids bedtime. You also have to remember in some places of the world it's a totally different day or time of day.
