Facebook Pages ~ Share Yours!

Just wondering if the team has a Facebook page yet?

I create *whimsical collages & 3D art* for babies, children and their parents and loved ones and delight in custom orders!

In addition to all sorts of purchased papers, I often recycle vintage childrens' books among others to create unique treasures --

I've thought about starting a FB page but have yet to do so...do you think it's worth it? To be honest, I've never even promoted my shop on my personal FB either!!

At first I didn't think it was worth it but since they started the *new* format and I can *like* other businesses and shops with my *page/business* name, I've been using it more and my *likes* went from just my personal contacts of about 23 to 57 in a couple of weeks ~ give it a try :o)

I have had really good success with Facebook. I started promoting my business with Facebook before I created an Etsy shop, and I got quite a few sales by people contacting me through Facebook. FB also allows you to link your Etsy page to your FB page.

I've already "Liked" the Abounding Treasures page on FB. I think Facebook is one other way we can support one another by "LIKING" our pages and helping to spread the word.

I am actually struggling with the new format on Facebook, though. The old format made it MUCH easier to promote my page to friends by allowing me to share the link with people and send them messages from my page directly. Now when you hit "Share" it just posts to your profile.

Emily -- someone told me little secret --

if I click the SHARE button and in the blank spot type the @ sign and then the name of another page that I've liked, whatever I'm trying to share will appear on their page too!

Give it a try - it worked for me tonight as I wanted to share something with a shop I have 4 of my creations on consignment with :)

Hi All!
Can you please let me know if the link I gave you pulls up a Wishing Wells page with the logo you see on my Etsy page (black well with apple green writing)? I've had others tell me that they have trouble with the link sometimes.

Someone also told me that you need to like each others pages with your personal facebook page, not your business page or the "likes" won't increase. Did that make sense?

Second: I have been able to "LIKE" a page from both my personal and business pages. I figured this would help those on our team get a bit more exposure through personal and business contacts from each of our pages.

I'm having trouble - maybe someone knows the answer. When I'm viewing the treasury and click to share it on Facebook, it will only let me share it on my personal Facebook page, not my Kelley's Paper Crafts Facebook page. It's driving me crazy! Anyone have any experience with this?? Help!

I had the same issue. Here's how to fix it:
1) Allow it to post to your personal page.
2) Go to your business page, copy the URL address from the treasury page, and then paste it in the "Share" box at the top of your business page. Facebook will automatically pull up the link to the treasury so that you can post it on your business page as well.

If you update your business page to their new pages, you can use FB as your business name and like any page you want and it will show up as will the pages that like you ~ at least it is on mine :o)
