Need help!

Can someone critique my shop for me? I'm fairly new and have been trying all I can to make the best shop I can. The only thing I haven't gotten to are the pictures of my listings. Any advice?
Thank you!

Re: Need help!

I noticed that you only used one picture for a lot of your items. It is best to use as many pictures as possible. Since your customers can't see the item in person it is important for them to be able to see different angles of it in the pictures. The only other advice I have for you is to upload more items so that you have more chances of being discovered.

I hope this helped!! Good luck!

Re: Need help!

Since photos have already been covered, let's talk SEO (tags and titles). Whatever words you use in your titles should be repeated in your tags. Etsy's search engine favors a 1:1 match as a factor in determining relevancy. After that come items with keywords in either their title OR their tags, putting you at the back of the pack for most searches. Use terms that a potential buyer would use to find your product. Avoid using short single words in a tag. Most people do not seach for items using only one word because it turns up too many results. For example "pink" will pull up 2,441,746 items, making it a poor choice. "Pink charm" is a bit better with 87,016. "Pink food charm" gets 1,501 and someone who typed "pink food" or "food charm" would also see an item with that tag. You have 20 characters available for a tag, so use at least two words whenever possible. A good tag/title phrase for you would be "miniature food". Also, some of your charms were not labeled as charms in their title. Not only are you missing opportunities to be found in search, you may be missing out on people don't know what you're offering is a charm unless they read your full description.

I noticed your charms don't have an attachment point on them. Not a bad thing, just a thing potential buyers may ask you about (or worse, ding you on a review because they didn't ask). Might want to address that issue in your description. If they can't be strung upon purchase, how will the buyer use them?

Re: Need help!

Thanks, Amanda, for clarifying keyword usage and SEO. This makes sense; Google rankings work the same way in part. I found your answer super helpful.
