Item crumbled in post - HELP!

I'm really upset right now, as an item I made that I ensured to put wire in the weak bits crumbled while in the post - https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/226524033/pokemon-psyduck-keyring?ref=shop_home_active_3

I'm hoping there is a way i can add an image in this thread to show you what it looks like on arrival (plenty of bubble wrap and i asked for a fragile sticker!)

Luckily the person was a friend of mine so she is being nice and not angry at me but I was really not prepared for this. What could have done this please? Sculpey 3 baked gas mark 1 for about 23ish minutes, was conditioned before hand, I added translucent clay to the bottom of the feet to secure them even firmer to the body and i glazed it afterwards
