How long have you been working with PC?

I'm just curious :)

I bought some polymer clay a few months ago (Feb-ish) just for fun and now I'm hooked! It's such a versatile medium, I absolutely love it.
I'm still learning techniques and all that, I have a lo to learn!

I'm in my second year although I played with it about 35 years ago which is why I'm playing with it now. Cleaning some old boxes, I found a cookie tin full of fimo. It still worked although it took alot of conditioning. I'd forgotten I'd had it and can't remember what I had tried to make.

About four years here too. Definitely feel like there is so much more I have to learn. But I will say I feel like I have come a long way in four years. I look at things I made when I first started out and I cringe. I hope I don't feel that way about my current projects four years from now!

I started several years ago but only had my dining room table to work at. I had to put it all away cuz family was coming to visit and then I got busy at work and with all my stuff put away I kinda got away from it. But I got it all back out about a year ago. Then I thought to myself, who needs a dining room anyway? Thats what TV trays are for! lol. Back doing what I love. I love experimenting and learning new techniques.

First I used pc when i was in highschool (that was like 17 years ago, omg), very simple stuff, beads, figurines, etc. Then I started again 1 year ago :)

9 years. It's the first "hobby" I've stuck with for more than a year or two. Now I really don't do any others except crochet. I'll pull out an old unfinished project to work on now and then (quilting, cross-stitch, etc) but I can't get away from my clay!

I love working with the stuff and try to make all sorts of new things. Still learning a lot too!
I just have to get it sold because my closet is getting a bit full. ;-)

I've only been working with polymer clay since April, and I'm surprised at how easily I picked up the miniature food making. I love it!

I've been working with it for about two years and every day I learn something new that makes me fall in love with it all over again. I wish I didn't have this pesky "day job" interfering with my claying.

I also joined the Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy. The women there have been wonderful mentors.

I knew about polymer clay and played with it making Barbie food with my girls. It wasn't until 1991 that I started working with it seriously.

Off and on for about 25 years or so... no joke - I started making stuff with Super Sculpey as a kid. I still have a couple of my first sculptures!!

I would say about two years. The same friend who showed me into the beading world also introduced me to polymer clay. I was her first student, and have stuck with her since, but now we learn together. I show her new techniques and she shows me new stuff. We marvel at all the polymer clay artist on etsy. We send e-mails back and forth have you seen this person and this one tutorial, and how do you think they did that. We're generations apart, she around 50 something and I'm 20 something, but polymer clay has made us best friends!

I can't even remember, the first things I did were some accessories for my barbie dolls ( I am now In my mid thirties!). I have never worked in anything else since.And it has become my full time job as soon as I graduated.
It is definitely the best clay for tiny art.

I started using polymer clay about 25 years ago. They didn't even have colored clay so I had to paint everything! Things have sure changed. It's amazing what this stuff can do and it's amazing what has been done with it. Is that the same thing....?

A friend's daughter (age 6) introduced me to it 14 years ago. I'm amazed that I still haven't gotten bored!
