Hi, I'm new to polymer clay

I'm new to polymer clay and I'd like some help please. I use Kato polymer clay. Thanks so much for reading

1) How do you make figurines that can actually stand up.

2) What paint to you use to paint them?

3) What kind of sealant do you use?

When you say figurines do you mean mini figures?

I use acrylic paints on my polymer clay if I ever paint them (normally I don't)

You don't really need to seal your polymer clay but if you like you can coat it with a matte finish or glossy finish. I hope this helps! :)

1. You can make a small wire armature
2. Acrylic, or Genesis heat-set oil paints- work VERY well for figures
3. You don't really need to seal. Kato has a beautiful sheen when it is cured.

I agree with Suzanne Nguyen & Kira Slye . Go through Polymer Clay Discussions you will find alot of talk about finishes for your painted pieces .Right now i use Delta Ceramcoat and Pledge with Future shine .Varathanis a good one too . I agree with Kira too, except I use polymer glaze.
