Hi Tabitha. I dont personally use one but I have heard they are good if you're mass-producing.
Could always just continue to use your hands, its good for muscle definition !!

Thanks, Tim! My arm definition has gotten better since clay working, for sure.

I don't use my extruder for everything, but I use it a lot for things like this:

and for a lot of the other things I make, so it's a truly indispensable tool for me!

I've been through almost 10 Makin's extruders in the last year (which work AWESOME when they work, and then I strip the threads out on them every.single.time within a few weeks-months), and I've gotten really tired of breaking them and buying new ones. That's why I'm considering moving over to the Artway, but it's an investment.
I do plan to call Polymer Clay Express tomorrow and chat with someone, but it's too late tonight to do so.
