Congratulations! Your stitch markers look awesome! And I can't think of a more appropriate magazine to feature them. My mini frying pan pendant was just featured in the Winter Product Guide in this magazine (which was worth checking out for the recipes alone): http://issuu.com/chickpeamag/docs/winter2011
It's not for my polymer clay work, but I recently had some of my jewelry featured in the Holiday Edition of Playstation Magazine in their gift guide. I've had website and online mag features before, but this was my first feature in a physical magazine. Here's a link to my blog with a photo: http://outposteight.blogspot.com/2011/11/im-in-playstation-magazine.html
Congrats on your features you two! Diana, I love your shop and that little frying pan is so cute!
My article, An Introduction to Basic Principles of Design, was published in the December 2011 issue of Polymer Cafe magazine. I would love feedback from those who get the magazine. Was it helpful?
I love Polymer Clay Magazine but haven't been reading it long enough to have seen that article. Congrats though! I would definitely say my magazine feature was helpful. I wasn't insanely swamped with orders like I have been after a website feature, but anyone who could tell me what page my jewelry was featured on in the magazine got a 25% off coupon - that way I could find out who was referred from there. And I would say I got 30+ sales from it. Not bad for just a little picture and my shop name.
Yep, I've been in four magazines. Brides, Wellwed: The Hamptons, Food Network Magazine, and a New Zealand bride magazine. I freaked out the first time, it was pretty awesome..lol.
I was featured in the The Polymer Arts, Inspiration section of the winter issue. It is my first feature and I was thrilled when I got the magazine. It sounds so impressive to tell people that I am published. If you don't know this mag, it is great. Check it out!
My "Night Vision" Necklace (my Etsy thumnail) was featured in the October issue of Polymer Cafe's Gallery. I also just got word that I placed in the "Just Jewerly" challenge for Polymer Cafe's March issue. They can't tell me what place though - darn it. :0)
