Re: Welcome!

I am an avid gardener (over 1000 different perennials, trees and shrubs on my city lot). My degrees were in ornamental horticulture and plant pathology and I worked for 20 years doing vegetable disease control research. I'm retired from that, and can now spend a lot of time with my garden, growing, photographing and creating designs for cards, mugs tiles and other items from my photographs.

Re: Welcome!

I grew up on a working farm + living in the garden or in the greenhouses. My dad is a horticulturist... so a love for all plants just came naturally to me. I love pressing wildflowers ...but i mostly enjoy photographing plants + flowers so their beauty can live on forever! I have a huge collection of photographs but have just recently opened a shop on here to share that collection with the world. :)

Re: Welcome!

I got my degree in Botany at Humboldt State University in California two years ago, and right now I'm working as a Conservation and Land Management Intern for the Chicago Botanic Garden. Mostly I just adore identifying and becoming familiar with wildflowers and lichens, so am pretty happy when I get to work around them. (^:

Re: Welcome!

Hello, my name is Aimee and although I have always gardened, farmed, and been interested in plants as a way that I was brought up, I more recently found a passion for the field of Botany. I've only taken a couple college courses in botany that will go towards my degree, but the more and more I learn and research the information regarding germination and reproduction of plants I find myself falling more and more in love in a plants life cycle. My most current work of art is my pillow that has the anatomy of a California orange Poppy on it....I hope you will all enjoy! It's great to find a team on Etsy with the same interests!

Re: Welcome!

I am an avid gardener... without a garden. I do have a large balcony though so I try to make the best of it. Not all experiments work... My day job is glass bead making (first Etsy shop). This shop started as a fine arts shop, where I used to sell my floral watercolors. Unfortunately I couldn't produce enough to sustain the shop so I turned it into a vintage print shop. I love hunting for vintage prints that show flowers !

Re: Welcome!

Hey there all!
I am new to Etsy, and absolutely new to joining teams! I'm unsure which ones to join, but this one seems great! I just opened a small shop that sells seed starting kits, and have been gardening all my life! I recently moved and have some room to have a proper sized garden now, and can't wait to get started! Here are my items for sale so far (this shop is a work in progress), let me know what you guys think!

Re: Welcome!

Hi guys

I recently discovered gardening and have been improving my garden for 2 years now I think. This year if the first year I'm growing things from seed currently I have purple sprouting broccoli seedings, rocket, basil, coriander, thyme, orange peppers and purple artichoke on the go.

I have also just enrolled on an online learning course called designing with plants which is very exciting.

I also love crocheting so i mixed that with gardening to create my crocheted garden trellises which i sell in my shop. I have a Lonicera Sempervirens currently growing up one of them i will also be creating crocheted garden planters soon as well.

Re: Welcome!

Hi, I'm a self-taught organic gardener who has been loving nature since birth... I'm also a certified herbalist and my business uses many herbs to create homemade soaps, medicinal salves and one very special tonic. I currently work part-time on one of the lovely greenhouse farms in my town which allows me more opportunity to surround myself with all the beautiful colors and textures of many garden plants, trees and shrubs. I sell my herbals at some of the local stores in my area and on etsy.... check it out! I got the name for my business from one of the mountains in my view from where we live at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains.

Re: Welcome!

I'm a mixed media artist that has recently moved into integrating living elements into my work. As of late I've been creating terrariums, terrarium jewelry, and other creative planter items. I've been working in a community garden, as well as a local sustainability project, and thoroughly enjoy combining my art making and my love of growing.

I am a new Etsy shop owner, and am looking to learn from other sellers, specifically different sorts of shipping methods that work for you, problems youve had and ho you solve them, etc.

I look forward to seeing all of the work everyone has created here. :)

My name is Wendy. I deal mainly with herbs. I make herbal products like salves, lip balms, and tea blends. I grow some of my own herbs, gather some from the wild, and purchase some herb plants from my local nurseries
