So I thought we needed a place to just talk, vent, BS, whatever, so here it is! LOL

How's everybody's weekend so far?

Mine is off to a rocky start. I offended a few people on my Facebook! (Big surprise right? LOL) My so called "friends" are always after me to make them stuff for free and they are starting to eat up all my time with their personal projects. So I announced that I'm going to start charging them for labor. I kinda feel bad about that, but I don't know what else to do.

Other than that I'm working on wallets tonight. What's everybody else up to?

I'm doing fuck all. Staying in bed mostly. I might sew up some Blythe clothes if I can get the patterns printed out. I've been debating putting some in the shop, just not sure yet.

Sounds like fun! I just finished Tye's set (shhhh she doesn't know exactly how many pieces it is for sure), and now I'm just staring at the damn computer screen.

So, you read Tarot do you Jaie? I occasionally read for people, but haven't in a while. I should take out my deck again. I have the Celtic Dragon set. Love it!

Oh and I've run out of game boards for the moment so I'm trying to think of something interesting to make for the shop. I get so bored making the same shit over and over. I've been looking on Google Image search for inspiration for a new pattern.

Went to a Fall festival with my Mom this morning and now out to lunch with my hubby. Then back to work on my items.......

My headache has died down some, but my hip is screaming today.

There's a story there, but the edited version on how I got the cane is simple...I was in the Army 6 years ago and broke my right hip, refused surgery, took the discharge, and now I use a cane to hobble around on and I have terrible arthritis in it. Not the smartest thing I've ever done for sure, but my husband calls it proof of my bullheaded stubbornness.

On the business front, it's a beautiful day today, so I think I'm going to retake some more listing photos. I gotta get these bags looking good for Christmas shoppers!

My sewing machine broke!! Shopping for a new one now. The shopping part is fun, but I hate being out of commission. I prepped some more game boards, but now I gotta find something to keep me busy while I wait. :(

You totally made me snort gatorade! What a great way to cap off a crazy weekend! I'm sitting for my friends two chihuahuas and it's been insane in my one bedroom apartment. I have three full time minions, Mr. Pippers, Lucifur Whiskerbiscuits, and Pandamonium and with the addition of her two Chi's it brought the total paw count to twenty (I'll wait while you all do the math...it took me a bit to count them!) And of course, with their mom gone and in a new place, the two interloper Chi's have the shits...all over the carpets. Been chasing muddy puddles all weekend. Grrr... But on the plus side, I got a new mold at Joann's today for .99 and am pouring resin like there's no tomorrow! Having a blast making absolutely ridiculous stuff for Halloween. Seriously, is there a better way to wait out bouts of juicy dog farts? I can't think of one.
D, how's the sewing machine? Better?
By the way, anyone feeling snarky? Look up 'Robot Watches," and count the reselllers! It's almost a drinking game.

Well, I think in trying to fix it I made it worse. LOL!

It's ok though. Mom is getting me a Janome. She said it's my Christmas present so I better like it! Hahaha! So for the time being I've been cutting out bag pieces and prepping Monopoly boards to go on purses as soon as I get my new machine. I've been crocheting hats too for some crazy reason.

Oh man Tye! Sounds like you're having fun! I babysat a Dane for a friend once and that happened. OMFG! I'm soooo glad Harley rarely gets the shits like that.

That one was f'ed up. I saw that, I still think the CR is arbitrary, but it is hers, so what can you do.

I've got my guest artist doing two for me, (bubble necklaces) and I'm doing 2 later tomorrow. Should be....interesting.

Haha! I had a Wonder Horse when I was little. I think I still have it, actually.

That's an awful lot for one though. Wow! Around here you can find them at the flea market and yard sales all the time in "like new" condition for less than $50 frame intact.

In a couple of hours I'm going to town to get organizational shit (containers, shelves, etc.) so I can finally dig out of the mess I work in! I'm so excited!! I have 2 desks and 2 tables that I haven't seen in 2 months! LMAO! A friend came over yesterday to show her daughter some purses and I was so embarrassed for them to see my "studio". I know where everything is, but to an outsider it looks like a hot mess. To make it worse, my area is actually supposed to be a formal living room so it's the first thing you see when you come in the front door. I want to get it looking nice so I can take pictures for my About page. I've been working on my shop's appearance a bit here and there.

I'm thinking about enlisting my daughters to model some of the bags, especially the game board ones. I'm kind of thinking that since they are kind of on the cute side that maybe a couple children modeling them might add something to the listings. Any opinions?
