Laser Papers

My paper seems to be too thick, I have the 24#, but alot of my buttons are not turning out.. when I use normal white printing paper, they work fine, but find the print quality is not as good.. any suggestions?

Re: Laser Papers

Just a bright white laser paper, I get all of my prints done professionally at a friends print shop, they look amazing, no grains, lines, not too thick or too thin. Just a bright white paper, it is a little thicker than ordinary paper and it helps the images pop, gives them a glossy look without actually being glossy.

Hope this helps? You can check with local print shops and get suggestions too if need be.

Happy New Year!

Re: Laser Papers

I use Staples brand 28lb 98 brightness and it works great. My printer tends to print more thick and shiny on it. 24# and below it doesn't print with a sheen but with this thickness it seems to leave a bright solid layer.

I use a Samsung CLX-6220FX for my printing, if that helps.

I would get samples using your paper from different print shops around and see if maybe its your printer that is the issue instead of the paper.

Re: Laser Papers

Thanks for your suggestions. I have an HP printer, and in the beginning, the printing was awesome. I have noticed a bit of difference in print, since replacing the toners.... but the the actual button making I have always had an issue with the thicker paper. :(
