Button design digital mockups

I'm a little lazy in that regard.. I usually just punch a real one and photograph it. I have found a better response from buyers when they see a physical item.

The tutorials are available on the internet, some persons actually are kind enough to include the actual psd file so you would just need to place your image and mask the shape in photoshop.

Try google "photoshop tutorial to create button" or similar term.

I've been wondering if there is a good mock-up program for 1.25" button faces, the reason being is our digital cam isn't working, I'm all thumbs trying to shoot with the iPhone, and considering this is a low cost item, I don't want to invest a lot of shooting time when I could be in my studio creating. Can anyone recommend a good photoshop mockup template for 1.25" pinbacks?

I made some digital mock ups… I really didn't like them as much as the actual photos.

I created a template in photoshop. If you are photoshop inclined, any basic mock up tutorial should give you the gist of it. Does not need to be specifically for buttons.

For the one shown I created it based off a photo I took. The example you have looks even easier to mimic. A circle with some simple harsh shadows. and a background thrown in.
