I have questions regarding Fine Art Prints

So I have some people interested in Lithos of my work, however I have no idea how to go about getting that done? I don't even know if the start up cost would be worth it and I would want a sample run to see how my photography look printed as a Litho. Can anyone give me some guidance on this.

In my quest to search this out, I found another product from Finerworks.com called Giclee. It is really high quality paper and it uses a ink jet type printer. Per print it is more expensive than Lithos, but requires no upfront cost. It is slower for a printer to print, but the paper supposedly last longer. I guess lithos can yellow over time.

I also use Simple Color Lab and they have a whole assortment of fine art paper. I am so overwhelmed I have no idea where to start. I thought I was doing good having my stuff printed through Millers Lab, but now I found more to learn.

Re: I have questions regarding Fine Art Prints

I don't have any experience with lithography, but giclee is a fairly common print type in fine art reproductions. You surely aren't limited to Finerworks or Simple Color Lab as far as printing options for giclee.
Here's a YouTube video that does a nice job explaining what giclee is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWszUvTezRQ

Awesome Ryan, thank you so much for the response. I did get my giclee print from Finerworks I had ordered. It looks amazing. I am blown away with how nice it looks. I will check out the Youtube video as well.

Thank you again!
