Hey John,
I think with everything on Etsy, it's all a bit over saturated. The trick is to optimize your title and tags to make your items more likely to show up in searches. It also depends on the amount of stock and listings you have. That being said, it shouldn't dissuade you from going forward and trying to make sales.
