Just got a pattern sale and 2 things:
1. The item’s title on the packing slip is showing the title from Etsy page which is very long for Etsy seo and not the short title from my pattern page which would be very confusing for a buyer.
2. The prices on the packing slip are showing in £ not $ despite my shop and the buyer being in the U.S.
I am very reticent to include this packing slip with mostly incorrect information as it looks extremely unprofessional. I tried to contact pattern help from the pattern dashboard, but that link just takes me to Etsy help with a bunch of options to choose from that don’t apply to pattern. I’ve had my pattern site for about a month now, and I’m really regretting not going with a different website engine, because of the lack of support and problems. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Jess
1. I am fairly certain it used to show the Pattern title, but looking at mine, I see it printing the Etsy title, so you are correct about that.
2. Pattern is the same as Etsy, in that it shows the amounts in the Currency that the buyer is using. It doesn't matter where the buyer is located, just the currency they were using when they made the purchase. This is not a bug.
I hope this helps.

Ok, I had already considered the currency thing, so I guess that’s solved, but I don’t like that it shows the Etsy title. As a buyer, I would be very confused to add something called “x” to my cart but see on my order confirmation page, emails, and packing slip something called “a”.
Also, out of curiosity I added something from my own to site to my cart and went through the whole checkout process until hitting submit, and on the last page there is a box at the bottom to check having Etsy email you about shopping inspiration. Does this mean Etsy will email my pattern customers about items to buy from Etsy? From my Etsy shop or anything from Etsy? I’m curious because I just had a sale on Etsy from someone who had purchased from my pattern site a few weeks ago, and I didn’t include any information about Etsy or my Etsy shop in his package and couldn’t figure out how or why he would find a matching item to buy on Etsy. I’m obviously happy for the sale, but converting Pattern customers into Etsy customers is pretty much the opposite of what I’m trying to do.
I interpreted that box to mean that they were signing up for Etsy emails. I do not like it.
