I can't get my domain name to connect to my site.
(and it looks like I'm not the only one.) I don't see the answer I need, so here goes....
Registered through Weebly, domain is held by registrar.com. This is what my DNS records look like:
Type Host Points to
A Record, www, 130.211.40.170
CNAMAE 130.211.40.170, patternbyetsy.com
302 redirect, mail, theHippieDragon@gmail.com
Back over to Etsy/Pattern:
Connect an existing domain
Entered: hippiedragondesigns.com
Result: Oops! No valid records found for this domain. Please read our guide for help setting up your domain correctly.
Before connecting a third-party domain, read our guide on how to do it. Complete all the the steps in the guide, then enter your domain below to connect it to your Pattern site.
---------
OH! Now that's interesting. I have checked and I clearly typed in .com, NOT .cc. So what do I do now?????
Thank you

Re: I can't get my domain name to connect to my site.
First, how long ago did you register your domain? Sometimes, it can take a while to get updated everywhere.
Also, try entering in your domain with the www. That's what mine shows. (It's been too long for me to remember if that's how I actually entered it, but worth a shot.)

I've owned the name about 2 months now. I've been taking my time as each step goes through. I'll try the www. Thanks.

Yay! I've given that advice to a few people, but wasn't sure it actually worked. 🙂
