I was responding to a question that had come through via Pattern. My response included a link to a listing on my Pattern site. When you put a link in the new messaging system, it will come up with a photo and a description, kind of like if you put a link in FB. Again, my link was to my domain name. The link created by the messaging system was to the item listing on Etsy! If your customers don't realize you are also on Etsy, they may find this confusing, so I thought I'd mention it here.
I will send a note to Etsy Support, but am not holding my breath on that one.
Well, that stinks @funkydreamsmosaics. And it really should not be that way.
If and when etsy support gives you a reply, please come back to us....but I think we will both be turning purple before that happens.
I did get a reply, so no need to turn purple for that! LOL! As for when they will do anything about it??? That's a different story.
The Support guy easily reproduced it and said he was "passing it along to the team". Which means they know about it and will prioritize it, and everyone concerned (even us) knows it won't be a high priority.
So for now, we get to live with it. And no, we really shouldn't have to because it really shouldn't be that way.
