Connecting a pattern side to facebook

Good day!

Facebook requires site verification by adding code to the home page header.   Since Etsy hosts a pattern site how do we get this done?

Or if Etsy doesn't allow this, is the only alternative to host your domain through another provider where there is a separation from Etsy?

I found this for verifying Etsy shops:

But it doesn't appear it will transfer over to the Pattern site?  I could be wrong, but that's how it seems.  You could try it and see.

Otherwise, yes, you'd have to go with a different provider.
