I have 486 items in my shop.
Is "29 items" in my SALE section too many?

I thought 41 was too many... 12%
So I moved items back to regular price and now the sale section is at 6% of my shop... 29 items.
What do you think?

I have been seeing and reading LOTS of quotes and fun inspirational thoughts. I am thinking of stitching them on sweatshirts and t-shirts. I just never know what other people will want it to say. I just stitch what I like... and hope others will like it enough to buy it. :)

Good Morning Paradise!! Just a quick fly-by, I'm still getting ready for work and running late. Mike left yesterday, but he'll be back late on Friday nite, we are going to go see Bob Seger Saturday nite! (an anniversary gift from Michael and Ashleigh). I hate that he's doing so much traveling 6 hours there, 6 hours back), I see the toll it's taking on him. I am quite over this whole being separated thing.

We have recently found out tho, that if his restaurant isn't ready when he's done with training at the end of October, he and the rest of his management staff will have to go to Alabama to open a restaurant....
ALA-FREAKIN'-BAMA!!!! I will never see him! I hate this.

Well, I do have to get moving, I'll catch up with you all in the morning.

KAT!! ALA Freakin Bama!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA Hope that things get better on the job front..sent you a re email of the art..let me know if you get it.

Juls have you thought about or can you teach at the local school that gives "{adult ed classes"? you know, that book you get from your community with gym classes and art classes, where peeps teach at night and during the day , offering what they are good at? I bet there are classes you could offer for moms and kids . A friend of mine who couldn't teach full time, did it when her kids were in school and it was a great job.

Thanks, Leslie. I will have to think about what I would teach. But, I will definitely look into it. It might be good for 9-1 people who are looking for something for their preschoolers while the others are in school, too.

I have three listings moved into my new shop right now. Still not open of course. I worked on it this afternoon. I have been so busy there has been little time for anything. Yesterday I left the house soon after 8 and was busy busy busy until almost 8 pm. I was so tired that I went to bed early.
Today has been quiet but tonight I am off beading and tomorrow I have to dash out to the mall to pick up some things from Gymboree - it's the first day of cashing in Gymbucks and my granddaughter needs pjs. From the mall I go to afternoon beading and then it's babysitting for the evening.
Friday is a quiet day so I can hopefully get some work done. The weekend, however, is non stop with ballet classes for my grand daughter, the gem and mineral show for my grandson and a book launch for one of the teachers that taught with me. She has written a romance novel and the excerpts that she has posted on Facebook have been really good!
I paid to vend at a small craft show (a couple of hours) in the middle of October for Retired Women Teachers. I have another the following week also for Retired Teachers (men and women).
I applied and was accepted for a show at the end of November - I had to run my money over there yesterday to keep my spot. It's a new show for me so I don't know what to expect.
Hoping that the show I did last December will contact me to do it again - it was a great show for me. I wish I knew when it would be so I could apply to others that month without being double booked.
Seems like there are various things going on with all of you personally and otherwise.
Juls, hope you get a break with the job market soon. Ditto, you, Kat. Also hope things work out well with your husband's job and that he doesn't have to travel even further.
Hi to everyone else - I had to read through a ton of pages and need to go back and read them again to make comments - no more time now though. I have cupcakes to frost and a beading bag to pack before I go out.
