Good Morning Paradise! Heading down to my mom's to celebrate her birthday which was really Wedsnesday, but I worked. Will be back around Sunday morning.

Hmm it seems I am the first on page 14 - don't know why 14 was showing (when I was on the previous pages) when there was nothing on it.

Off very shortly to take my grandkids out to lunch. They are getting the afternoon off due to that. It is my grandson's 10th birthday tomorrow. He and his sister have elected to go to the Imperial Buffet.
I'd take them tomorrow but a) it is a lot more expensive on Saturday b) they want the afternoon off school - LOL

Hey !!! Sorry Ive been MIA..I had a bunch of custom orders and had to frame and send art off to Houston for my first gallery show!!!! So it's been nuts, but exciting to be busy.
Kat..I have NEVER canned or grown my own fruits or veggies. It must be wonderful to have that sense of accomplishment when you pull that jar out of the cupboard, months later.. Bet the house smells great. It seems that you and Mike are managing this craziness..when does he find out about his restaurant in your area?:

Good Sunday Morning Paradise!!!

I had a wonderful time visiting my mom. A little later, I'm meeting up with a friend for a late lunch and were going to Painted Pottery, tho I'll be working on my mosaic (an ongoing project now for just about a year). That is, if my arm (neck and shoulder) let's me cut the tiles. We'll see how it goes.

Yep, still having issues with that. I've been to a massage therapist 3-4 times now, it's gotten somewhat better, but still bothers me a lot and I am still on 4 Aleve a day (and it still bothers me). Tomorrow, our insurance should kick in (it's been over 60 days without!), I am going to make an appt. with my doctor this week, to have them check me over, make sure it's nothing more serious. I'm really sick of being in pain, I know that. Something's gotta give.

Ruth, I offered you advice on your banner the other day when I lost my post, I did mention the missing pic. Also, trying to be quick here. I would make sure all of those smaller pics on the top of the title were white, white background. Other than that, design-wise, it looks great! :)

Leslie, I am so stinking proud of you with your Tim Burton gallery. You rock it girl!!! Yeah, it has been 2 months down for Mike being gone, it was supposed to be only 1 more month, but it looks like Al-Freakin-Bama is inevitable for after he's done with this last month. Not happy about this.

But, Mike will be home late Monday nite this week and he's not leaving until next Friday evening, so I'm just going to enjoy his time here and play Scarlette O'Hara and worry about the rest tomorrow.

Alright, I have a few things I need to get done before getting cleaned up for my lunch/playdate. Hope you all have wonderfully productive days! ♥

My hair is no longer blue but I haven't been able to take a good photo of the new colour - it is now purple! I was a redhead for many years but I have a white streak now and got tired of looking like a red skunk. LOL. My grandson turned 10 yesterday and my grand daughter will be 8 in February. Their mother was late into motherhood. She is now 47 and my younger daughter is 45.

Sharon Imperial Buffet is mainly a Chinese Buffet but they also offer sushi maki and seaweed salad. My grand daughter was first to fill her plate - sushi maki is her favourite and that is what she started with - one of every kind and they have a wide selection. My grandson loves shanghai noodles so that is where he started. I mainly have a cold selection starting with the sushi and seaweed salad. My next plate is shrimp, and different salads (not the green variety). Last, I choose a few small hot things followed by green tea ice cream.

Yes, I am fortunate to live near to my daughter and grandchildren. Neither one of us drive so it is nice to be able to walk over to their house in 12 minutes and to be at the elementary school in less than that. I babysit them on Thursday evenings while my daughter goes to choir practice. My son in law picks them up later as he doesn't get home until late on Thursdays.
I take my granddaughter to dance classes on Saturdays since I have a transit pass. I take my grandson to other things - like the Gem and Mineral show that we went to last weekend - that event always costs me as he likes to purchase rocks and fossils and sometimes gets to choose some big item since the show is so close to his birthday. :)
My son in law is always speaking about moving out of town - that idea really upsets me ..... :(

Morning, a quick hello and off to work I go...ugh. BUT it's supposed to be a beautiful 77° when I get out of work, so I will sit out on the patio with Haley and wait for my hubby to roll in, something to look forward to!! :)

And thanks for the kind words on my water accident. I could not image doing this TWICE - your water heaters? UG!

AAA came by today and they are going to replace my carpet and padding. They are awesome! I am using their contractor to keep it easy for them and for us. The contractors will even get a POD to store my stuff while they work. I don't have to walk around boxes for a while! And AAA said that the contractors will do all the moving. Sweet!

So, it is a little crazy right now.
